$30K - $38K a year $2,500 Sign On Bonus! The Youth Care Worker at One Hope United Residential is a meaningful professional opportunity for a caring person to provide a healing presence to our teenage residents and to become an integral part of a close-knit team.
Staff provide supervision of youth while maintaining a clean and healthy atmosphere, planning activities, and providing therapeutic environment in their assigned cottage.
We are looking for individuals to work full-time but also have part-time positions.
Some flexibility with scheduling is available.
Professional development toward becoming a Mental Health Professional is built into the YCW position, resulting in increased pay and often promotions for excellent staff members.
Full-time positions include a full array of time off and benefits.
2nd and 3rd shifts available.
Job Duties Include:
Performing duties associated with the day to day training, modeling and skill-building of a residential home for youth Teaching and participating in individual and group instruction in daily living, recreational activities, social skills, and independent living skills as prescribed by each youth's Individual Treatment Plan and the OHU Residential Program Plan Participate in training and maintain certification in the implementation of the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) approved behavior modification program Following One Home United Residential Program Plan, including daily schedule, administration of consequences and mental health treatment plans of youth in residential care Qualifications Education General Educational Development High School Diploma Bachelor of Social Work preferred Experience 3-5 years in Youth Care Services or related preferred Other:
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance Must be a minimum of 21 years of age We Invest In You!
